1948 - The Amherst Male Glee Club is founded by Walter E. Reitz as part of the Amherst Adult School
1980 - The AMGC becomes incorporated as an independent not-for-profit organization
2008 - Brett Ransom is named the new Artistic Director
2013 - The AMGC changes its name to the Red Blazer Men's Chorus
2017 - The RBMC celebrates its 70th season with an Alumni Concert

Our current membership is approximately 45 men from all over the Western New York area, and now includes some members from Ontario.

Our male 4-part harmony has been heard throughout Western New York and the province of Ontario, extending to such varied places as Grand Rapids, Michigan; Winnipeg, Manitoba; and Marquette, Michigan.

Our repertoire is varied - from barbershop to old standards, Broadway to current music trends - our wide variety of music ensures something for everyone.
